Little church in Southampton

At the end of Gin Lane in Southampton stands an exquisite small Episcopal Church, St Andrew's Dune Church. It's quite near the ocean. If you drive along Gin Lane it turns into Meadow Lane. Let's see, isn't this where a fundraiser was held over the weekend for some politician or other? Nobody around yesterday. This too shall pass away.

The Bounty

Port Jefferson played host to a Tall Ship the other day, "The Bounty". No mutineers in sight, though. This egret was interested only in the small fish the harbor was teeming with.To see the ship with sails unfurled click here.
