A few days after our Big Snow in mid December people were having a wonderful time at St. George's Golf and Country Club.

Wired

Did you ever notice how many wires there are everyhere? Hard to take a picture without including them. But when they get them all underground, if they ever do, will we recognize the place?

When my car is sick

I take it to Mike's Mechanics in PJ Station on Hallock Avenue. They've been there forever. This is Bob, the first medic you meet in the triage area.

Your car gets fixed right at Mike's and they don't scalp you. The waiting room is a friendly place, complete with coffee, TV, and interesting conversations.

New stone wall

On the corner of Barnum Avenue and 25A in Port Jefferson a new stone wall was being built on December 15th. I'm always fascinated to see permanent things emerging. And it won't look new.
