This is on the village green in Stony Brook in front of the post office. This large tree was planted less than a year ago and serves as a christmas tree, very pretty with lights. But the cost of this job! With several men working there all week, and materials--it might be cheaper to plant a new tree every year. And now it's an eyesore. I guess it's not taxpayer money paying for it.
