Montauk daisies
This lavish bed of Montauk daisies stopped me in my tracks the other day at Suffolk Community College in Selden. The plant is hardy, doesn't mind sea spray, and seems to love our mild fall weather.

Rabbits and deer don't like them. I've never seen them anywhere but here on LI.
