New roof on an old house

The Brewster House, circa 1665, is all ready for the 21st Century. Last new roof was put on in 1967. It was hot work as the local paper showed.
Compare this with how it looked last year

I saw how it looked last year. And, wow! Big changes in just a year. It looks like nobody lives there anymore. Though, it looked well-maintained. Thanks for sharing, Priscilla!

A roof is vital in the overall look of the house. Like in this one, it gave the old house a fresher look. I'm sure that with this new roof, this Brewster House can last for years.

That is a vast improvement from its previous state. And now people touring the place will feel more secured when visiting, though that may be part of it’s appeal to some. Point is, it’ll live to see more springs now. :)
