Back and forth

Hunt to the right

Hunt to the left

Hunt to the right again

Hunt to the left again...and got one!

It was cloudy all day and in the 60s, then about 4:00 the drizzle began, such a familiar pattern. This egret in Setauket Harbor didn't seem to mind the rain. To see the details please click on the picture. (Hunt, i.e., fish)

Temps in the 60's ??????? OMG - how wonderful!!! I hate to chase away the summer but Fall, Winter and Spring are my favorite seasons here because of Summer's heat.

Back when there were still fish in my ponds, one of those great egrets would come "fish" in them. Between the drought a couple of years ago and the dedicated fishing by that egret, the ponds were cleaned out ....

Yup, they'll do that.

Wish I could send you some of this cool, grey, moist weather. We've had quite enough.

Fun! I was looking father out into the ocean and didn't even see the feathered guy until the end and I enlarged it. I don't see much of these around here, sometimes a big gray one comes to my cousins pond or flys over the house and makes a shadow like an airplane!
