Bee balm

Red bee balm seen on our July 2nd hike through Avalon Preserve.The tall yellow flowers are coreopsis. This preserve is semi-wild and I'm sure both of these plants were introduced.

Next time you see some Beebalm crush one of the leaves between your fingers...I love that spicy smell :)
