Auto scene is changing

Bye, bye, Chrysler Jeep
UPDATE: They didn't go out of business. They just moved their sign to the other side of the building. Sorry.

Yup. Lots of them are. On the way to church there's one stretch of the highway that has nothing but dealerships for 2 miles; all of the brands are (were)represented there. So many have closed up, like the Hummer. The Chevvy place in PJ Station where I got my Prizm (which is actually a Corolla) 11 years ago has gone out of business and the lot is a ghost town. Makes me feel funny as I had so many pleasant times there waiting for my car to be serviced...really top-notch place. These areas show very clearly the state of the auto industry.

There is an old Ford dealership that closed in the town I work in that I bought several cars from, the owner was a local guy and the dealership was a part of town for over 40 years I think. He died and now it's a ghost town there, sad sad sad. It looks weird to drive by there
