No waiting for a free table. This week's theme is THE BEACH. There's no reason to limit our enjoyment of the beach to the warmer months. Twenty-two degrees out? Stay home? Piffle!

Nice picture, I like the angle. How far are you from the beach?
I'm about 3 or 4 miles from this beach. There are several others nearby...Port Jefferson, Cedar Beach in Mt. Sinai, little ones here and there. We're lucky to have so many beaches. On the south shore, of course, are the fine ocean beaches, with sand instead of pebbles.
