This kind of phone booth is pretty much extinct now - especially thanks to cell phones - amazing that there are still a couple there in your town. Recently, I've only seen them at the airport - certainly not as pretty as this one.
P.S. I can't remember the show's name, but the phone booth reminds me of the one used in that crazy British Sci-fi TV series ....
