Organized in 1723 and built in 1729, the Caroline Church of Brookhaven (Episcopal) is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It looks onto the Setauket Green where the Battle of Setauket took place in 1777. A bullet from that battle is visible just inside the front door.The Caroline Church
