Wonderful new walking/biking trail in East Setauket off Gnarled Hollow Road. A few smidges of snow remained in the shady areas yesterday. How nice to be able to walk along a smooth road like this and not worry about cars (But they need to remove that Path Closed sign.).

How long is this Priscilla? It looks beautiful.
Only about 2 miles at present, I think. You have to turn around and walk back so that's another 2 miles.
What a fine trail!! But please be careful when you are out there - keep your senses alert for suspecious people and take your pepper spray! That dead end is a potential problem ....
P.S. sorry about the bummer comment .... but the setup raised alarm bells.
It's in the middle of several housing developments; a scream would bring 30 people running to help! I don't feel uneasy in this kind of "wilderness".
