The shearing that was scheduled for yesteday had to be put off as their wool was still wet from all the rain we've been having. People came anyway, many little people, and were encouraged to feed the sheep, the horse and one goat. It was a happy scene.
Yep, they do need haircuts.

The pen is where the shearing will take place next Saturday (weather permitting). Stay tuned.

The goat seen from the back looked like it had swallowed a rowboat. Next week there will be a kid on that side of the fence too.
It is so amazing that such beautiful wools can come from those awful looking, tangled hunks of sheep wool ...
That horse has such a beautiful coat.
Yes, the horse was lovely. He had a white mane hanging on the other side.
